How to use SuperTonic

We discovered SuperTonic over 30 years ago and have made it and used it with amazing results ever since. One day we handed a bottle to Dan, owner of a well-known farm store in Ohio that carries our fermented food products. Dan was miserable with a sore throat, congested sinus and a cough. He really felt bad and could hardly function. We told him, “Try this, it works!” A few days later Dan called us, and we could tell right away from his voice that the sore throat and congestion were gone.  After thanking us, Dan surprised us by saying, “I want you to package that stuff you gave me.  I’ve got to bring it to our customers.”  Well, it had never occurred to us to sell this product that had worked so well for us for years, but Dan’s mind was made up.

The Making of SuperTonic

To make SuperTonic, we shred and blend the components: Horseradish, Garlic, Ginger, Habanero Pepper and Onion (all organic) and then vinegar-age this mix with frequent stirring, in raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. The ACV, a body-cleansing component itself, draws the “good stuff” from the blended foods, preserves it and also ferments it a little.  This mix stands in glass vessels protected from light at room temperature for at least 4 weeks.  We want to give the vinegar and fermentation process time to break down cell walls and infuse the powerful pathogen-fighting, immunity-providing enzymes and other elements.  Then we put the mix through a juice press to extract the max of the healing juices. We do not filter it, believing that the small amount of pulp residue remaining in it is part of the benefit (shake the bottle before use).  No heat ever applied. The high acid content of the vinegar renders SuperTonic shelf-stable without refrigeration. While we state its shelf life at two years, we’ve personally used SuperTonic that was years older and have never known it to go bad.

My husband’s been down with what “we think” is the flu for a week now and he loves the tonic.

His flu symptoms are so low than he’s used to, that we’re not even sure it’s the flu. He’s usually bed ridden for 24 hours, but that hasn’t happened. Though it’s been lingering enough to where he’s not normal for a week and we’ve run out of tonic.

Now that your on-line ordering is up I am going to put up a post on my facebook page telling my friends to go check it. Also another little marketing thing I thought of, did you ever see the movie “The Karate Kid”? It came out back in the 80’s. In it at one point the Old master has the kid drink some tea, the kid says ohh tastes awful, the Old Master says yaya “Taste bad work good, now drink”. I think that fits SuperTonic perfectly!

Well, it looks like I was able to stop the diverticulitis this time without antibiotics, and with juice fasting and Supertonic. Here’s what I did, in case you’re collecting anecdotes.

When I first noticed the pain, while it was VERY MILD, I stopped eating.( Probably only people who have had this a few times would recognize it immediately. The beginning symptom is so mild that if you didn’t know what it was, you’d ignore it.)
Did a water fast the first day.
From the second day, I drank juice only, (and potassium broth) almost entirely vegetable, lots of greens, celery, carrot, parsley, spinach, kale, cucumber. For the entire week I only used 2 apples, which was the only fruit I used.
In the morning, I drank potassium broth with 1 teaspoon of Supertonic.
I added 1 teaspoon Supertonic to each 2 cup glass of vegetable juice. I also juiced 2 cloves of garlic per each 2 cup glass of vegetable juice. I usually drank 2 to 3 of these per day.
Later in the week, as I found I could easily tolerate 1 teaspoon Super T, I started adding 3 teaspoons per glass. If I have to do this again, I would start with 3 teaspoons per glass. It actually tastes good in the vegetable juice. Kind of like bloody mary mix without the tomato. ???

I did this for 7 days, then did a gradual 3 day transition to food. I’ve been eating normal food for a couple days now, and feel fine. First time I’ve gotten through this without antibiotics. One note: I wouldn’t try this if the pain had gotten bad already. AND I went to the doctor, who gave me antibiotics to have on hand in case the pain got worse. He did say I could try this fast though, and that it might work. Looks like it did!

I have heard that SuperTonic MIGHT help arthritic symptoms, but did not take this advice seriously.  For two weeks I had been experiencing weakness and burning pain anytime I tried to use my left hand for gripping or doing daily chores.  I tried the usual anti-arthritic herbs and supplements but to no avail.  Then I caught a flu the day before a farmer’s market where I was a vendor.  I mixed SuperTonic with juice and sipped it every 20 minutes awake and every time I woke up in the night.  The next morning my flu symptoms were gone, but more amazingly to me – not a trace of pain in my left hand.  It has remained that way to date.

We really enjoy your products.  I am convinced that Supertonic (straight up 3 times per day once sick) helped my 9 year old to heal from viral bronchitis — kept him from turning the corner into bacterial bronchitis or pneumonia (as he had last winter).  Also, has anyone ever told you this? I was taking it prophylactically when all three of our kids were sick…and, not only did I not get their respiratory virus, but I noticed excess ear wax build-up worked its way out of my ears! I just wanted to send you an e-mail to tell you about my awesome experience with Super Tonic. I recently purchased a 16 oz bottle from you at the Indy Farmers Market. My business is natural healthcare and I like to believe I have a very healthy immune system but I got kicked hard with a wicked “bug” recently. I was in bed for a week with an additional two weeks of extreme fatigue and cough. I bought the Super Tonic at the suggestion of a client (she is a huge fan of yours!). First of all, I love the taste straight up as is! The interesting thing was within 24 hours my throat and tonsils felt enlarged so I knew it was working to flush the last of the virus/bacteria (?) out of my system. Within 48 hours my cough was almost completely gone and within 72 hours my energy had
returned. I am not 100% back to myself yet but I have absolutely no doubt the Super Tonic is what worked! Also, an interesting side note of symptoms during flu was I had very blurry vision and was losing my balance when walking. Gone!
The tonic didn’t taste that strong to me initially which from what I know is a sign my body needed it. As I have regained my health and energy the taste is definitely stronger but I still love it plain! Next time I intend to purchase the Hawthorn Berry Syrup!

 Recently I woke up with a little bit of a sore throat. I could feel I was about to get sick. I took 2 Tbl. spoons of Super tonic straight up. I could feel it kind of fizzing on the area my throat that was hurting. I sipped on a couple more Tbs. throughout the day. It never got any worse throughout that day as it usually does. The next morning I when I woke up I could still feel a little bit of soreness so i took 2 more Tbs. I felt better the rest of the day and the next morning I didn’t need it at all. That was a week ago and I’m feeling great. I still like to take it even when I’m not feeling bad. Just because it makes me feel even better. Hi I wanted to tell how glad I am that I tried your SuperTonic. I have been having issues with Candida overgrowth for 5 years and have tried probiotics, antifungals, restrictive diets,and expensive supplements but nothing has helped much. I also have fibromyalgia and the pain was getting pretty severe. After doing a lot of my own research I learned that reducing my inflammation would help. I saw that the Supertonic could help with this as well as rebalancing my gut. I took it for a month and the overgrowth of yeast is gone and my pain has been reduced significantly. To elaborate further on the SuperTonic, I JUST NOW woke up refreshed, after a long work week and going to bed late last night. As I am still horizontal with my eyes closed, I was cognizant of the unblocked airflow through my nose. This is due to the SuperTonic! I have ALWAYS suffered with Texas allergies, especially this time of year when everything is blooming. My routine was to take a tablet of Claritin, Zyrtec, or use my prescription nose sprays to breathe.
